MD, PhD, Vincent DONCKIER is the Head of the Surgical Clinic of Abdominal Transplantation of the Erasmus Hospital in Brussels, Professor of Surgery at the Université Libre de Bruxelles, Guest Professor at the University of Ghent and President of the Belgian Transplant Society. The objective of his research is to better understand the mechanisms leading to allograft rejection or tolerance to design new therapeutic approaches in clinical liver transplantation. vdonckier@ulb.ac.be

PhD in Biomedical Sciences. Patrick is clinical scientist at the Erasmus Hospital and Head of the Immunochemistry Laboratory belonging to the Immunobiology Clinic. Patrick is teaching Practical Immunology to Bachelors in Medical Biology at the Haute Ecole Francisco Ferrer, Brussels. His research bears on the monitoring of immune response, aiming to find new biomarkers for the diagnosis and the prognosis of multiple sclerosis and allergy. patrick.stordeur@ulb.ac.be
