The Institute is supported by a PUBLIC-PRIVATE PARTNERSHIP between the Walloon Region (50%), GlaxoSmithKline Biologicals (25%) and the Université Libre de Bruxelles (25%). The collaboration with GlaxoSmithKline Biologicals works on the basis of an exchange of technologies and joint scientific meetings on novel concepts emerging from our research results. GSK Biologicals benefits from the first right of refusal on our research results in return for its investment. This collaboration has been sponsored by the Walloon Government as part of its objective to contribute to the economic dynamism of the region.
