After having gone around the chambers of commerce of the North of the country, the minister-president of the Walloon Region, Rudy Demotte, took a delegation of corporate managers from Brussels and Flanders to visit the Aeropôle of Charleroi on Thursday December 11. This visit, emphasized by the presence of King Albert II, aimed to bring the corporate managers on the field and show them that Wallonia is evolving. King Albert II wanted indeed to support Rudy Demotte who tries to break the image of a weakened Wallonia since his ascension to the Walloon presidency.
On this occasion, Michel Goldman gave an oral presentation to demonstrate to the guests that Charleroi-Aeropole has become, in less than ten years, a European crossroad in the field of biotechnologies, a crossroad where industrial innovation joined up with basic scientific research.
