The Head Immunology Plateform, Laurence Van Overtvelt, and the R&D Director, Philippe Moingeon, of Stallergenes (Antony, France) visited The Institute for Medical Immunology and the research center BIOVALLEE on friday the 5th of December. On this occasion, Philippe Moingeon gave a common seminar IMI-BIOVALLEE entitled: "Induction of regulatory lymphocytes by sublingual immunotherapy: from mice to humans". Michel Goldman, Bruno Nortier and Tony Lahoutte then introduced the new Imaging Center of the Biopole to the visitors. This center aims at delivering preclinical R&D services to biomedical industry, in the field of inflammation and transplantation. Stallergenes is an European biopharmaceutical laboratory specialising in the treatment by desensitisation of allergy-related respiratory conditions. The Group's activities focus on research into allergy, and the development, production and distribution of allergen extracts for curative treatment of allergic rhinitis and asthma. www.stallergenes.fr
