Your research is not complete until you publish it! From exciting data to publication, this is a long-winding road: gathering data, extracting the key message from your findings, conveying your message, going through the peer review process...There are so many steps that can preclude publication. As the Associate Editor of the European Journal of Immunology (EJI) -one of the world´s leading primary research journals in immunology- my presentation will focus on what happens to your manuscript when you submit it to the Journal, thus unravelling the different aspects of the peer review process. By the way of Frontlines articles, full lengths research articles and short communications, the Journal is committed to publishing the highest quality papers in the shortest possible time. The editorial team of the Journal endeavours to meet your expectations as an author; I will therefore also outline why EJI is the best choice to publish your research. Finally, publishing is also a matter of style and scientific writing should be succinct and to-the point, I will give some guidance for writing a good scientific paper in order to ensure that your manuscript retains the reviewers´full attention. | |
