As of May 7, 2007, Haifa Hamdi, PhD, benefits from a
F.R.S.-FNRS grant to join the IMI. Her research project, based on the recent demonstration that dendritic cells expressing the glucocorticoid-induced leucine zipper promote the emergence of regulatory cells suppressing inflammatory responses, will be part of an ongoing IMI programme aiming at the development of a new generation of vaccines against autoimmune and allergic diseases.
